Taylor & Ellen’s Classic Wedding at Plant NO. 4, Milwaukee, WI. | Wisconsin Documentary Wedding Photographer

No matter how many weddings I photograph, I am more and more sold that no two weddings are alike, and Tyler and Ellen's wedding day at Plant No. 4 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was no exception. As a Wisconsin wedding photographer, I had the privilege of documenting their love story amidst the industrial-chic charm of this unique venue. From heartfelt vows to photo sessions in the rain, this day was one to remember.

Plant No. 4 is Nestled in the heart of Milwaukee, and the historic of this venue is full of character and sophistication, making it a dream location for couples seeking a memorable wedding experience. This venue is especially desirable for those looking to find a beauty amongst the cold, which is why it was perfect for Taylor and Ellens wedding that took place on a chilly October evening.

After a beautiful ceremony, which was gloriously illuminated from the natural light pouring in from the giant windows, we set out for a scenic stroll to Milwaukee's Riverwalk for bridal party photos. However, halfway through our walk we found ourselves caught in light sprinkle of rain. Luckily, this was anticipated and a plentiful supply of umbrellas were provided for everyone before we left the venue.

In spite of the rain, Tyler, Ellen, and their bridal party knew what had to be done, and that was making it all the way to the Riverwalk.

Although no one would have complained if it was 65 degrees and sunny, the rainy adventure resulted to the Riverwalk resulted in some awesome candid and memorable photos that perfectly captured the journey and outcome of the day. One of my favorite photos from this excursion is one depicting Ellen’s and one of her bridesmaids, who is holding an umbrella over her head as they cross the street in downtown Milwaukee. The way the blue light-posts pop and the vibrant buildings compliment the bridesmaids dresses as Ellen in her elegant wedding get-up skip along the city will forever have my heart..

After bridal photos by the riverwalk, we set out on our return to Plant No. 4, when along the way we stumbled upon a charming vintage bus stop. This bus stop not only gave Ellen and Taylor some temporary refuge from the wind but it also provided a unique collection bridal portraits to add to their gallery.

Back at Plant No. 4, the festivities continued with heartfelt toasts, hilarious anecdotes, and plenty of laughter. Guests shared stories and memories, creating an atmosphere filled with love and joy. The dance floor came alive with energetic moves and spontaneous moments, including one where Ellen’s cousin nearly lost his pants – not actually lost them, but I don’t think he will be wearing them out again (see last photo^).

Tyler and Ellen's wedding day at Plant No. 4 in Milwaukee was a heartfelt celebration of love, with lots of laughter and unforgettable moments that will not soon be forgotten.

As a Wisconsin wedding photographer, I eagerly look forward every single wedding I shoot and the opportunity to capture how each special day unfolds. From unplanned photo sessions at bus stops, pant ripping, tear-invoking toasts, and dancing, I can’t wait to be there to make sure it’s all documented for you to relive again and again!
